| So this is a Fish Camp.

This is my first time at a Fish Camp. I stayed here because the owner is super nice and she let me forward some bulk packages and helped me lug them to my coach. The owner's house sits up near the road with a small sign. The office is behind the house and is gated at the end of her narrow driveway (careful leaving...the gutter projects out of the house dangerously close). The office seems to have everything a fisherman needs. The land is picturesque with ponds of water and rolling green hills with gravel driveways cut throughout. And then there is the campground. It looks like a pile of old dirty nurses shoes with rotten wood decks everywhere. The premier pull-through site that the owner politely offers short stopovers is at the front of the middle row in the front yard of a resident trailer. I don't like someone being able to hear me flush and it has a steep pitch forward, so I backed in to a site that put my nose right on the edge of the driveway. There seems to be new sewer connections, but the water quality is deplorable and in the matter of 48 hours the well water's iron levels managed to ruin my new water filter. You can literally see and smell the metal in it. All sites are 30amp / no WiFi. My ATT signal was sufficient for hotspot. The place is quiet and pretty, but it looks like all of the seasonals have been given the best spots looking away from the CG facing the water. Maybe this is what all Fish Camps are like, what do I know...I do not fish.
