We arrived and were greeted friendly. We originally planned to stay 2 nights but that quickly turned into a week. Although the place is mainly residents and seasonal, there were plenty of spots for the vacationers. Quickly we found that the people there are very friendly and welcoming. The manager, Zach, was a great resource for information about the area, fishing and things to do. This stop turned out to be a highlight of our summer travels. We look forward to being back as soon as our schedule allows. We heard some of the best crab can be found in the fall!
Zach is the manager and he is wonderful! He is kind and provides excellent customer service from buying crabbing licenses to teaching to putting the boat in the water and helping you to be successful in having a great time and catching crab. He also helps clean and cooks them for you. The park is not great. It has 95% permanent residents or at least extended ones who have a tight knit community. They are nice enough, but take all the tables from the other sites, leave their awnings out and make newbies work around them in the very tight spaces. The laundry room is fine and affordable. The park is close to great beaches. I'd probably stay somewhere else next time but definitely go to Zach for the crabbing.
Nice place to stay, used Passport America and got a great price! Full hook up with cable box and for $19 (normally $40). Super friendly & helpful staff. Small RV park and the sots are tight, not much space between but they manage to place every other space so it was good. Close to beach and convenient. WiFi is good, Verizon is two bars and sufficient. Water pressure was a bit low. Would stay here again.
