Reviews for Biltmore Gardens RV Park

| Shaded, clean

Shaded deep lots. Gravel, grass, mostly level. Pull throughs and back-ins all have large overhanging trees with adequate space, however; some turns are tight for larger RV's . Owner runs antique store and is professional. Clean and we'll cared for. Location close to Savannah.

Mom and daughter running the park are nice and accommodating. However, this park is just a spot with hookups - no pool, no shower house, no laundry facilities. The area is very wooded, so expect lots of mosquitos biting you and lots of tree sapp on your vehicles.

| Close to Savannah historic district

As far as amenities go, it is what it is, and isn't what it isn't. We chose to stay here to see the Savannah Historic district and that's what we got. We found the park to be small but well manicured and the beautiful old oaks shaded the whole park. Ms Barbara was extremely accommodating and a pleasure to talk with. If you're looking for shuffle board, swimming and painting classes at the community center, this is not the place, however, I do recommend this if you're here to tour the city of Savannah.

We stayed at this park on a last second decision. The lady at the front desk was adamant we arrive before 3pm because they were closing at that time on Saturday. We'll I can just make that happen and 3pm is very early for travelers, so we arrive at 6:30 pm. They posted our paperwork to the pole. The campground was dark and the spots are not marked. My wife had to walk the campground in the dark looking for our spot. After she found it, we were able to get in it easily, since the lots are very large and far apart from each other. We only stayed one night because because we only spent one day in Savannah. I would stay longer here, if needed. The lot was dirt, level, and all the other stuff (water, etc) worked as required.

| Great place to stay

When we arrived my wife was having trouble with a muscle in her leg. I mentioned it to Barbara while I was checking in. Barbara called a local chiropractor and inquired about an appointment. After I left the office Barbara called me and gave me a number to a massage therapist nearby that she had called and said they had openings the next day. I really appreciated the personal interest.

| Rude!

I called to see if there was an availability and I was told that it was only 2 people to an Rv. I inquired what about my two children (as well as my husband) and she told me only two people allowed. I asked why my children weren't allowed and she then said it's just the rules and they had no availability and hung up on me. I'm blown away!
