Good basic spaces on a small lake about 15 mnutes off HWY 20 Worth the detour Clean and mostly empty at this tiime of year. Many sites back up right on the lake. Strong cell signal with Verizon. Showers are clean and hot. No extra charge.
A 20 mile drive through corn and soybeans yields an oasis at the end. Black hawk SP. sweet days of summer-July is dressed up and play her tune... The tune here is a big lake full of boats and kayaks. The town of Lakeview is quaint and well kept. The RV Park is packed on the weekends but not so much on week days. Some drive through gravel site s but mostly back in s. Restrooms and showers are older but ok. Huge lake, very well kept park and grounds with picnic areas and boat launches. GPS took up correctly to the park but we began to wonder as the road went winding on and on. All in all... nice park!
