How wonderful to be back in a Florida State Park. They’re every bit as good as we remembered them. Well maintained, friendly rangers and campground hosts. The best gravel sites we’ve seen: perfectly level and so clean I don’t want to drop a crumb. Went kayaking/canoeing with a new friend there. Beautiful river. Fun hiking, too.

Pleasant Staff. Large well kept sites. Great price . One of the best RV stops I have ever encountered. Peaceful. Nice clean showers and toilets.

For our entire stay, we were never in the same campsite. It happened to be the busy season and a lot of the spots were previously reserved. For some this may have been a problem, but for us, it meant we had the lovely opportunity of meeting many of the campers. To make all this moving about easier, the park rangers were extremely accommodating. They let us know when spots would open the next day so we had an opportunity to move. When we could reserve a spot, they helped us do it online and waived the service fee! If you stay, bring your own kayak and familiarize yourself with the path to the top of the river...and have a truck. If not, you'll have to pay the local kayak shop some $$$ to drive you there. But once you hit the water, it's one of the most gorgeous, serene river float.

This is a small park with wonderful walking trails. Our 38 foot Winnebago Motorhome fit perfectly in the 80 x 40 foot camping site. All sites have full hookups and easy access to the restrooms. All also appear to be level. Extremely well maintained sites nestled in the tall pines and woods, offering some spacious but of privacy. Friendly staff rounded it all out! Great place to camp. Was really unseasonably cold (down to low 20's/high teens at night). We ran into a problem with our coach batteries not charging. Would highly recommend Bill's RV Service within ten miles of the park. Honest, most helpful, knowledgeable, and reasonable! Good people if RV help is needed.

This park is small but immaculate, sites are very spacious, level and clean. I didn't use the facility but I'm sure they a very clean as well. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I can't say enough good things about this park. I will be using this park again when i'm in the area.

For a state park, this place is very nice. Small overall, only 30 sites but the sites themselves are roomy. Plenty of room to stretch out and get comfortable. Most are pretty private too with trees separating from each other. And most are pretty shady. Full hook ups including sewer. Nice level pads. Most are gravel and like 2 are paved. Fire ring, picnic table, charcoal grill and clothes line at each site. Bathrooms/showers are clean. There is a playground in the first loop if you are camping with kids. They sell little bundles of firewood for about $5. They pick up trash at your site between 8 and 11 AM but my only complaint is there are no other trash cans throughout the park other than the bathroom or quite a walking distance away so if you are traveling with a dog you need to figure out what to do with the bag when you pick up their mess. They do provide poop bags near the bathroom. Will definitely camp here again.

Very nice state park. Gravel sites, paved roads. Plenty of boardwalk to river banks, restrooms and rentable pavillion. Nice walking trails thru woods. Wood have rated this at 5 if it had cement. There was one cement disabled spot with cement in front of restroom. They have several large rv parking spots to dry camp BUT ONLY when campground is full. It is close to town and stores.

Clean, spacious sites in well maintained state park with full hook-ups. Fun place to hike and kayak.
