Decent park situated on a historical civil war town/battlefield, quiet and spacious rv sites, bath houses however are not close to rv sites but they are adequate and clean. Does not have a store to purchase basic supplies. R, check in attendant was nice, sociable, helpful...V, night attendant NOT PROFESSIONAL... Very rude...gates close at 10 pm..the park wants people in by that time..overall it was a pleasant stay and I would stay again, but I would also look into other rv parks in the area as well..3 stars..because of the historical aspects of the park..

Driving cross country. This has to be the nicest park we've stayed at ever. The spaces were huge and the woods all around you were gorgeous. This is not your average RV (parking lot) park. Highly recommend! Service was excellent. Thanks Robin!
| One of the best state parks we have stayed at
Great spread out spots, lots of foliage between spots. Front gate personnel are friendly and helpful. The gate will be closed at 9pm so if you are going to be out after that you need to call the gate house before hand to make accommodations to have the gate opened. Lots of hiking trails and sites to look at Overall an excellent place to stay for a while.
