| Peaceful setting

Nice small park with a unique entry thru the river. Paved roads, sites are level and well spaced. Not much reception for OTA TV service. Trees needed to trimmed up to clear class A motorhome. Sits along the river but you can't see the water from the sites, just a short walk. Would stay here again.

| Very Nice Hill Country Campground

Good place to stay while enjoying the Texas Hill Country. Relatively close to many towns for antiquing.

| Enjoyed this Special Campground

The campground is fairly small with some sites close together. Try to reserve a site along the back loop if looking for a little privacy. No issues with any hook ups. Verizon worked good. Blanco River runs through park with dams, a swimming area, plenty of spaces to fish and picnic. There are trails along the river which are great for walking. The very charming town of Blanco is about a half mile away with a path from the campground to the town square. Really fun small specialty shops, the courthouse museum and great places to eat. Friday nights there is a community music jam in front of Lavender and Leather. There was also music at the Red Bud Fri and Sat. Great place to step back into an all American town, visit with locals and just enjoy. This is a great place to relax and take in the beauty of Blanco, Blanco River and the park.
