This park will be hard to beat. Everything about it deserves 5 stars. The cleanliness, the staff, the spaces and everything else. There's washing facilities that are open 24 hours, a playground for kids, a pool and hot tub, a small convenience store during office hours, a lake to fish in, picnic tables beside each site, free WiFi and everything else that we didn't even get a chance to look at! The park is easy to find and very quiet considering its so close to the highway, and after hours check in is simple. The price is $42 a night but definitely worth it if you're looking for somewhere to fully recharge your batteries. Wish we could have stayed longer.
Very nice RV park. Easy to get to and not too far from Dallas. We stayed for 3 days and really enjoyed our visit. It is getting harder to find parks this nice. We will be back on our way south.
This is a very well-maintained park. The majority of spaces are wide and long pull-throughs, but even the back-ins are spacious. Every spot has a picnic table and 50/30 amp full hook-ups. There are 5 very clean private toilet/showers (at least 1 accessible), mail room, store, library, laundry, exercise room, daily trash pick-up, dog park, swimming pool/spa, and fishing pond. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The only reason I did not rate this park 5 star is that it backs up to I-20, so there is traffic noise. Everything about the park makes up for it! We would definitely stay here again.
Not a real big place but has all the amenities of a big park. Pool, hot tub, mail service, paved roads and trees. Nice sized spots and very friendly staff. Close to the interstate, but you hardly hear it. Definitely will be back.
Needed a place for overnight heading north east after being in the Hill Country. This is a wonderful park. Quiet. If you have pets...many places to walk. We were greeted at the desk with dog & chocolate chip cookies. Close to I-20. Definitely go back. Will put it on our favorites!
Easy to stay here, clean, grass, pond, they take excellent care of the property. Ahhhh...peaceful. Make reservations online and when you get there they will adjust for discount for military, Good Sam, Escapees.
What a wonderful place. Only stayed overnight but would highly recommend. On the east side of Dallas so it was great to push on through and get there. Pulled in LATE--nicely lit spaces; easy to find but nav doesn't tell you to go a bit further down the road so be aware of that if coming in at night. Lots of grass around gravel sites and picnic tables at each one. Super spotless bathrooms and Blue Bell Ice Cream for sale in the store. Fenced pet area which was great. Owners are so friendly and helpful. Beautiful property. Wish all parks were like this!!! Thank you Bluebonnet Ridge!!
We were coming from the Hill Country and called this place for a pull through overnight. Very accommodating, and cookies for us & the dogs. What a Great place, and would definitely come back. Very pretty. Highly recommend.
This was a last minute alteration in our original trip and we were having trouble finding a park to stay in. So glad I got the last spot here. Clean, well maintained and peaceful. The amenities are great, a pond, pool, tennis court. We will definitely put this on the return to list for a longer stay next time.
Clean and loads of ameneties. Stocked fishing pond and pool were a great hit with the kids. Hot tub and lovely landscaping on the grounds made for a relaxing stop on our trip out west. Will definitely stay again!
Pulled in today. This is what nice RV parks should look like. Paved roads, trash pick up every morning. Nice pool with hot tub, clean rest rooms...we will be back...
We needed a place for one night and this park did not disappoint! Large spots, beautiful lake, awesome showers. Even had hot breakfast on Saturday morning. When we checked in we received treats for our dogs and cookies for us! Would definitely stay again.
The first thing you get when you sign in is a big smile and cookies. This is a very nice park. Sites are large and level. Bathrooms/showers are separate rooms and very clean. If you need a place to stay this is it. The only thing I have to say negative about it is highway noise, which didn’t bother us.
Everything in this park is to shelf! I have a 40ft fifth wheel with 6 slides, plenty of room in my site. I'll be back!
We stayed overnight on our way to Gulfport MS. Beautiful park, very clean and the people were great. I needed propane and the guy came and took my tank and filled it for me. Great service. Will definitely stay again. Plenty of room to walk the dog's. Wish we could have stayed longer.
Lovely facility, easy in and out with pull through sites. Friendly staff. Cookies are a nice touch.
Stayed at Bluebonnet again heading out West; so friendly and the property is really pretty. Easy on and off 1-20; spaces are concrete pads with nice picnic tables and wide enough for all slides out on a 45ft coach; cookies at check in are delicious! Bathrooms are A+ according to husband. LOVE the fenced in dog area with a fresh cool bowl of water for pups; pool, tennis courts, fishing, playground (none of which we used but it s just a nice addition if you need or want it! Lighting all around property and it actually is gated and closed at night so very secure! Love this place and would highly recommend and will plan our routes to be able to come back for certain!
Agree with other reviewers. We were going to stay one night but decided to add a night after seeing the park. Outside a nice little town with good restaurants, ice cream, a Buc-red store, which was an adventure. The park had gated security with hate that you open with a text message they send you. Also had tiny houses on big lots for longer term. Would definitely stay again.
If you have an RV more than ten years old don't bother stopping, your not welcome, just keep going!!! (9/26/18)
