The CORPS has the best campsites anywhere. Remember, the govt. affords the best. Lakeside camping, concrete pads, full hookups, clean restrooms & shower (hot & cold water), clothes washer & dryers. All this for $12 if you're a senior and have AMERICA THE BEAUTIFUL PASS. I you have never tried CORPS camping, you're missing the best.
Just a note. This park is on the river. Check your map. Not the lake as stated in the official page write up. But it is pretty . Good fishing and a great park. Only down side would be the pulp Mill right next door. Noise and smell. Sometimes. But the facilities are very nice.
Beware this park has no spaces for drive ups. Requires reservations and there is no cell service to make one you will need to drive a fair distance to do this....new polices suck go up the road to Coyote Run!
