This is mainly a park which is full of mobile homes mixed with full time RV's. The park still has some transient sites, which can be difficult to back into. Pool. Club House nice and full of full time snowbirds. Cable is free but limited in channels. 30 amp full hook ups with GS discount and local tax runs almost $48 per night.close to Everglades Nat. park. wifi weak and slow. Stayed here in 38 ft Motorhome. Would not return.

Very clean and easy to find with good facilities including a heated pool. 55 a night gives full service.

| Okay place. But not what the website promotes

It's not awful, but it's certainly not was we were expecting or what the website displayed. It is an older Park and a little run down. When we reserved our space, we made it clear that we have a new AND large fifth wheel. The lady makingour reservation said that they had only one space #6, but it was very nice and spacious. It was wooded, but it was also way to slim and short for a 40ft RV with slides on both sides. After a half hour of backing up and trying over and over, we hit the water spigot and broke it off. I went immediately to the office to demand that we be moved or refunded our $250 deposit. We did get changed to a new spot that was wider, but still with the utilities in very odd places, making it hard to find a space long enough, off the road far enough, and not too close to the trailers next to us. In the two weeks we've been here, we have attended ZERO activities because the activities bulletins that are posted are written in French. We have met only three people; probably because we don't speak French. It is a gated community, but we awoke early one morning to a loud 'crack' and in the morning we found a rock on the ground at the back of our RV. We are right next to the perimeter wall and we expect someone simply lobbed a rock over the wall for fun. There is a decent pool, a nice and well-used little playground, and a small book exchange. Bottom line, this is an okay camp, but expect highway noise and little interaction with your neighbors.

About

We're conveniently located in Homestead, Florida, gateway to the Florida Keys - the southernmost stretch of the United States. In fact, we’re so far south you'll have to drive north to get to Miami! Key Largo is about 20 minutes further south, the Everglades about 20 minutes west and Biscayne Bay - a favorite launching site for fishermen - is closer yet. Being just one block east of U.S. 1 - on lightly traveled NE 6th Avenue - we’re easily accessible.
