Very nice campground right adjacent to the beautiful Crystal River. Some sites are literally feet from the river. Plenty of shade from mature trees. There is a campground host. No cell service and no internet. Closed in winter. While the campground is close to the road (County Road 3) it is quite a bit lower and there is very light traffic during the day and almost not at night, so it's nice and quiet here. Good fishing in the Crystal River and there are some great hikes in the area. The tiny town of Marble is about 5 miles down the road and in the summer months has a rather good BBQ restaurant with patio seating.
