| Great place near Atlanta and Mountains Open All Year

By user-6493523... on 2017-10-23. Stayed 2014-10-08 to 2014-11-08

I love this park! There are around 95 sites with water and electric (30 and 50 amps) with fire rings and large pads. Most sites have view of the lake or are on the lake and are shaded. In typical COE style they are kept immaculate. They are now open all year and you are allowed to stay up to 28 days in fall and winter. They have swings, a volleyball and basketball court and a beach. Takes about an hour to get to the mountains and the same to downtown Atlanta. Plenty of shopping 15 minutes away. This is where we will stay in the area. We decided to stay as long as we can for the changing of fall colors.

| Another nice coe campground

We enjoy staying here. Place is well maintained, sites are spaced great, and family oriented. Only wish the playground for kids was updated and I would give 5 star. The roads is not to steep for bike riding with kids. We stay in travel trailer and will be back

| One of my favorite Campgrounds

By user-5146778... on 2017-10-23.

One of our favorite Campgrounds! Exceptionally maintained! It's on Lake Lanier, woodsey, and very large sites. Most sites are on the lake and if not, still very nice. Sites are spacious and not close together. My only wish is that you could reach someone on the telephone when calling Campground. The office is not manned and you always reach a recording and the recorded message is not audible. All in all, This campground is one of the bests!
