| Off the beaten path this gem was a much needed oasis.
Upon arrival we saw many small buildings and a seemingly confusing array of dirt roads. As we slowly crept along not seeing many signs of life or a well marked office, we were approached by a very helpful man who showed us to the sites and shuttled me to the office/restaurant to pay for accommodations. I would describe this as a private fairgrounds area complete with themed cabins, vendor area and full hook up rv sites. Be sure to check for upcoming events like car shows and flea markets. Entire grounds was gorgeous and serene and we fully enjoyed the light sounds of the train in the distance as well as acoustic music from the restaurant which was neither too loud and annoying nor did they play late at all. We would definitely stay here again as everyone we met here was kind, helpful and hospitable.
| Not great for big rigs after rain
Open field parking, Dirt roads, (sorta) gravel pads, after a rain this wasn’t good for big rigs. We sank our jacks about 7”! Staff was friendly and wouldn’t be bad for one night on a dry day.
