Small park. Full hookups, just make sure the water spicket has a knob before you part.
After all these years it is still only $12 a night for full hookups. Clean restrooms. Nothing else here but for $12 you can't expect much. Nice pull through sites. We have a 20' truck and 30' travel trailer. Will definetly stay here again if passing this way
Very nice reasonable place to stay overnight!
Stopped here in our 40' motorhome w/tow in January 2015. Pull through full hookup sites for $12 a nite on their honor system! Nothing fancy but just what we needed heading South Will stay here again.
Nothing fancy is an understatement. But for $12 a night what did you expect? It provides water-sewer-power and a level gravel lot. We'll be back.
$12 a night for full hookups! The site we had pnly had 30amps but so what. $12 a night. We needed a overnight stay while passing through and this was perfect. Some road noise but it doesn't bother us. Also of note the gas station down the block has easy in and out pumps for a long GAS RV; not always easy to find. Would stay again.
For $12 a night, my expectations were that the power, water, and sewer worked, which they all did, and the site was level. Stayed both on my way down and back from New Orleans. It is much better than a Walmart parking lot, especially considering the price.
What can you say that everyone else hasn't already covered, except that Boomland store has a pretty good restaurant. Didn't use the showers/restrooms looked a little spider city. Liked it so much had to stay on the way back. Perfect stop on our way to/from Texas, 8.5 hours from home . What a find, thank you RV Parky and thank you Boomland.
The park looks nice, mowed nicely, roomy sites, shade, 30 and 50 amp, water, and sewer. If you're just dumping, $5. Would be nice if restrooms were available, they are padlocked. No dumpster on site, take your trash with you. $12, guess you can't complain. Honor system.
Great overnight stop, $12 for level pull thru site with fhu's. Yes restrooms are padlocked but there is a dumpster in back lot for trash.
Almost all lots are pull through. They have 30 amp and 50 amp sites. Our site had a pedestal with a 50 amp plug in, but no breaker. Only the 30 amp worked. We could have moved, but 30 amp was sufficient for 1 night. Curiously the bathrooms were padlocked; I didn't see a dumpster, but a small trash can is next to the bathroom. Some highway noise, but not bad. I will stop again for an overnight if the opportunity arises. Paid $12. Beats boondocking at Walmart.
What a blessing to find in the middle of no where! Easy in easy out pull through, level, and stayed connected to the truck. Complete with power, water, and sceptic. Food within a few hundred foot walk so there's no reason to cook. Granted there's some roadway noise and no cable, but hey we are here to sleep over and leave early the next morning. Coffee, toast, unhook... Done, we are back in the road, rested, and ready. Thank you Boomtown, we will return the next trip through.
Great place for overnight
We started at Wal-Mart in Sikeston. Got permission at JCPenney across the street cuz their parking lot looked quieter. It was till 930 when a jerky trucker pulled right in front of our rig and proceeded to create all kinds of loud, annoying, non-peaceful sounds. So at 1030pm we sure appreciated the gem that is Boomland RV. Quiet. Peaceful, ridiculously inexpensive. Breakfast at Wally's and shopping extravaganza so worth staying here. We are in a fifth wheel and did not unhook. The the level grass and gravel sites with FH perfect. Will stop again and recommend it to everyone traveling I-57 or I-55.
Looked for a place for the night and found this little gem. Pull-thrus with 30/50 amp full hookup. Cash only but only $12. Boomland market just a stroll away with a good home cooking Wally's in the market. Can't beat the price. Grass and gravel but very level and easy utility hookups.
Clean and level. Ran AC, so if there was any road noise we didn't hear it. Huge shop at Boomland for all kinds of gourmet foods and knickknacks. Cured hams hanging on hooks. Didn't eat at restaurant. No frills, but a great price. Cash only
