We were in one of the 6 non-full time spaces in the main park, but those are right on Hwy 183 and it s so noisy.....wow. Sites are level, but all grainy gravel, gets in the trailer. Hard to walk the dog with little grassy spots available. Folks who checked us in were very nice, made it easy. $40.00/night a little high considering the available spaces were so noisy. Air conditioning did nothing to cut it.

We cut our stay short because the highway traffic was so loud we couldn't sleep well. Checkout payment was drop box that was full, so worried payment could have been stolen. No place to record Good Sam number or adjustment of nightly rate. Most lots had some shade, but not ours. Request to be parked near a relative was ignored. There were 2 empty shady lots near them that we could have been placed in.

Extremely expensive for what it is, Lots of full timers that are great people but in the 6 years we ve full timed this place is expensive for what you get. Great for an overnight stop, but not worth $40 per night. WiFi is an additional fee and is typical of most RV parks WiFI. We did enjoy the weekend music concerts that putters and gutters puts on next door and the greatest benefit of Boone rv park is its location. If you plan to stay full time beware that should you have to leave for any reason they will not refund or prorate a refund for nights you didn t stay there. We re military and had to make a move 3 weeks early but it s supposedly in the contract they make you sign when you check in. Now I understand why there wasn t any other military couples here. They charge for electricity, whereas most RV parks in the area don t. If you have children they charge an additional $4 per day or $40 per night per person over 2 people. Supposedly to cover the additional water consumption they will use.
