| Completely Rundown
This may have been a nice RV park at one time BUT it is completely run down, even the grass hasn't been mowed. The concrete pads for the picnic areas are broken, site 40 has a broken water line buried in the ground that bubbles up when turned on. New owners have had it for 1 year and doubt that they will make it.

Location: Bootheel RV Park in Portageville, MO right off interstate 55 Good Sam accepted 2824 MO East Outer Road 573-359-1580 Cost: with Good Sam $27 per night for electric and water. The sites with sewer are more, but they have a dump on site. SPECIAL NOTE: they also have small cabins you can rent, we ate at a good BBQ near by called Chubby's Dates Stayed: April 28, 2015 Atmosphere: road noise. Type of spots: level gravel pull through spots with 30/50 amp, picnic table and grill Laundry: Yes Shower House: Yes and wonderful and clean # of pools: 1 when in season # of hot tubs: 0 Dog park: no but pet friendly Activities: Playground for kids Wifi/cable: wifi free and excellent . No cable. Exercise room: no

Just uploaded a pool photo from June, 2017 and you can see it is horrible and actually dangerous as it is not fenced off and small children could easily fall in this out. No Cable Now the good. It was fairly quiet, level and not too far from I55. The bathrooms and laundry were great. The Wi-Fi worked fine. The office is rarely open so I'm not sure what you'd do if you had an issue. It would be nice if the owners brought it back to the original condition. Right now the pool area is an accident waiting to happen.
