| BASIC place for an overnight stay
Nothing special. Very close to flat gravel sites ... The location is essentially a large gravel parking lot. No trees or windbreaks, so be ready for the wind. Hookups are good. Clean, thought very very basic, bathrooms. Register in the gas station. An OK stopping point, if you must, on Hwy 50.
| Rude!
Rude! Rude! Rude! I stopped in to take a shower and do some laundry and wanted to plug in for a few hours... I asked if there was potential for a pro-rated rate (since I wouldn't be staying overnight), and he took $5 off, begrudgingly. Fine. Then I went into the laundry room, and one of the machines was broken. I asked the staff if I could use the one that said "hotel laundry" (in Spanish), she said yes, "just pay inside". Cool. 10 minutes later the old woman that owns the place came out and said that I owed her $10. Sure no problem. Then she said that the girls said that they told me that I can't use it (even though she doesn't speak Spanish & they were probably afraid of losing their jobs) and then said that I'm a liar. Really? A liar? Over laundry? I don't think so lady. It wouldn't serve me any purpose. It's not about the ten dollars. It's about her rude, racist, white lady bigot attitude. Do yourself a favor and drive past.
