Reviews for Boston Minuteman Campground

| Hilly Rocky Woody

Steep hills, gravel roads and sites, large rocks and trees. This campground is in a pine forest and reminds me of a county park. Very tight getting a 40 footer around and level. Mostly tents and wheels here. So many campfires that it is hard to breathe. Would have rather gone to Normandy Farms, but they were booked up.

Apparently either very popular, or too few transient sites. We could not get a 2-week stay in mid-July. They did verify that they have NO satellite-friendly sites.

| Nice place

We were here for only night but it is a beautiful place. Nice quiet, peaceful. They have to lead you to your site due to the narrow, twisty, wooded unpaved road. There were some large rigs there so it can be done, be an experienced driver, steep hill to enter the park. Would love to have stayed there longer, and will stay there again. We camped in a 34 foot Motorhome with tow.

We picked this park because of it's proximity to historic sites and other things. What we really liked was how it was in a very urban area, but tucked away in a wooded area so you felt like you were in the country. The staff was very nice, the spots were situated so you had more privacy than other places we have stayed and the fire pits were real. The park was pretty full with all types of rigs. The roads may be tighter than other parks but definitely able to be navigated with out problem. We have a 34' 5th wheel and had no problem. Would stay here again. It books up quickly due to location so reservations are a good idea. I don't know why someone would rate this park when they didn't even stay there as I noticed one reviewer did.

| Very Nice Park

Despite some of the early comments this is at least 4 star park. True, it s popular and reservations aren t easy to get. It s also heavily wooded but well kept. Several 40 plus foot RVs here now. Very nice facilities, well maintained and staffed with friendly and helpful people.

| Nice wooded sites, great staff

It's silly that an earlier reviewer gave a one star review because they couldn't get a reservation here. At least visit any campgrounds before reviewing! This campground has nice wooded sites, extremely clean restrooms, nice pool. Close to a train station into Boston. Camp hosts are very nice and friendly and help get you situated into your site. Highly recommend if visiting the Boston and Concord/Lexington area.

Thank you on so many levels! Thank you for your professionalism when calling last minute, even staying late a few minutes for our after 8 arrival. Your store radd so wil thought out and stocked with fair prices and organized . You directed us in to the campground perfectly. When we arrived, from the lighted sign and stoned landscape entrance all the way through the facility, everything laid out so perfectly. Obviously cared for by those who care themselves. Your park was a gem, a respite for weary travelers. Thank you so much!

Loved this campground. Called from the highway looking for a last minute stop, staff was amazing and incredibly helpful. Spots are wooded and secluded despite being close to one another. Wished we could have stayed longer!

Clean nice but the sites were on top of one another and at night you can hear the freight trains and other campers
