Pro's: easy pull through sites, inexpensive ($14), pretty scenery, wifi was ok, gates lock at 9, quiet too Con's: flies everywhere, they bite and are relentless, sewage was unusable, and bathrooms were hot and closed for repairs the next morning when we went to use them. We would give this place another shot because it was cheap and lovely.

A little off the beaten path. This is a tiny little lake that is clear. It has a small roped off beach area. Not bottomless though. Spaces were wide with a covered table. Most spots had a tree or two although not tall trees so doubt summer has much shade. Gravel driveway and pad with a little grass. Very quiet. I had a pull through for $14. W & E. Dump site on grounds.

Passing thru Roswell late, we needed a place with our young triplets on our 6 week USA tour. Red barn was nice but very compact and quiet do we opted for bottomless lake. The RV spots are at the southernmost lake Lea and are spectacular for this area. The beach and it's protective cove with TONS of sheltered picnic tables and unique views of the shattered cliffs as they fell into the lake makes a really nice atmosphere. A commons shelter in the middle has a wood stove fireplace as only grill fires were allowed at the site. Wifi is good, playground good for kids, and when we were there it was virtually empty on a weekday thurs-fri. Need some mosquito spray if you are O positive. Paddle boats weren't out for us to rent but after Labor Day it seems to get quiet. The abundance of parking and picnic tables and shelters suggests this is a very busy place in summer and likely one if the few watering holes for the area. A maps view showed school busses parked so reservations in peak season might be necessary. We saw at least 10 spots open for walk ins. Several pull thru.
