Well worth the price

For $15 you get a place to park up to a big rig, clean showers and bathrooms, a wash station and shady areas with relative quiet. Although the dump is only open 8-4, it's included as well.
For $20, add electric up to 50A or water, but not both. For $25 you get both.
Despite the dust mentioned by others, this is well worth the price, especially in this area, and there were plenty of spots open. Boulder and ask is amenities are barely 30 minutes away, and there were plenty of toads gone when we pulled in.

Good option for Longmont area

Campground is a first come facility. Numerous sites available when we got there. They have 30 amp and 50 amp sites, water no sewer. Sizes of sites are varied, short/long, narrow/wide. You pick your site and then register it. Showers were good and private. It was dry when we were there so park was kind of dusty. Park is across the road from the fairgrounds arena. There was an event going on the second night we were there and was a little loud but not intrusive. Good dump site. Can't beat the price in the area. $25 for electric & water. Would stay here again if in the area. Camped here in a 36' class A.

I'd rate this better than the last few KOA we have stayed at for a 3rd of the price.
No frills park with quite a few "Big Rig Friendly" sites. Relatively quiet area away from any highways. Love that you can walk to the Saturday Farmers Market at the fairgrounds. We expected the place to be packed due to limited camping options in the area. There were only a handful of other campers.
Park is First Come First Served. Bathhouse is decent, had a heck of a time getting code for the bathhouse though.. Only have electric during winter months for $20. Got a great 50amp spot Site #8 that had a little grass area and picnic table out front.
We stayed here last Summer and enjoyed our visit then as well. The park was a bit busier then.

Hard to find a better value place near here

$20 for an electric site! We've found it difficult to even find a site to camp with our small RV so checked this out. Even though there was a show on at the fairgrounds next door and the site was busy we found a place. Maybe it's this relief that we gave it 5 stars.
The bathroom and showers are probably the best we've used. Nice building, powerful shower, dish washing area and all quite spacious.
The detractors, dirt road throws up a bit of dust, damn train goes past several times a night honking it's horn... How people buy houses near that I'll never know! It's not so bad from the park and only woke me once. If recommend ear plugs if you are a light sleeper.

Horrible place! Quite a few here are long term and there are some pretty trashy sites. Your space is barely wide enough to put slides out without hitting your neighbor. Only 8 spaces are long, and they are hard to get because half are taken by people staying for a while. Sites are all gravel and pretty uneven. Quiet time is 9 to 6 but at 9:30 the party was still going on next to us with people outside and the door open. The campground host only works 10 am to 4 pm so there is nobody to call. They have restrooms and showers locked and they don't give you the combination. This is self service so you never see a live person. We were going to stay a few days, but no way!

If you are looking for a place in the Longmont area this is it. Pretty much self serve. You decide what your needs are and pay accordingly.
Pay one day at a time or for up to 14 days. Our neighbor's were just paying for electric except on the days they needed to add water to their fresh water holding tank. Then they paid the extra $5.
We stayed one night, we would stay here again!!!
Easy access to Estes Park and RMNP.

Better than Walmart but...

Good - cheap price, availability even on holiday weekend.
Not so good- very close, all dirt (no gravel) so it s a total mud pit, convicts in uniform maintaining grounds and walking around campsites, self-service means the gal cleaning the restrooms thinks she doesn t have to answer questions, when you finally find out the restroom code they change it and don t tell anyone making the restroom useless,no trace of the camp host the entire week we were there except for the nasty note he taped to our door ordering us to leave because he doesn t seem to know that some states tape temporary registration for new vehicles in the window and not on the license plate like CO does. Just very poorly run - but at least there is electric.

NO WATER

Do not be fooled, there is no water during the "Winter months" even though they still allow you the option to pay for it. You pay through a self serve machine and there is still the option the pay for water at your site even though it is turned off. When I asked why they still allowed people to be fooled into thinking there is water at the site because there's an option to pay for the hookup, I was told to do my research. It's not posted online, onsite, and only posted on a pamphlet that there is no water during "winter months". When I asked her to be more clear on the dates of "winter months" I had a door slammed in my face. She demonstrated so much class, it's breathtaking! Welcome to the West!

First come, first serve, no reservations. Only 8 long spaces, rest are tight but managable. Clean restrooms. Self serve check-in, the staff is only there for a few hours in the mornings and to enforce the 14 day rule.

We were meeting up with family in Colorado and all other campgrounds were full or very expensive. This was very convenient and inexpensive. We stayed 3 nites and other than the tight spots it was good.
