Reviews for Branson KOA Holiday

| Decent park

By user-5852854... on 2017-10-23.

We stayed here in early October 2015. Park is clean and well maintained. They pick up your trash at your site every morning. We showed up after hours and picked a site blindly with just a park map on the wall. Concrete pad was not very wide or level. We managed , but my wife is disabled and had a hard time navigating on the narrow pad not used by the trailer. Sewer hook up was kinda uphill. Probably could have asked to move in the morning , but I was already set up and didn't want to tear down and reset somewhere else. Tried to call ahead to make reservations but only got a recording after several attempts , finally gave up calling. Definitely recommend showing up during normal hours , especially if you have special needs. Overall park is nice , and staff is friendly and helpful. Laundry was clean and worked fine , but has no change machine. You have to bring your own or get change at the office. Kinda pricey ( even with KOA card ) but I'm sure it's due to its location , so close to the " strip" .

The park was excellent with very nice facilities. We are not big pool people so we cannot comment on that. Laundry was excellent and reasonably priced. Our site was level and comfortably wide. Easy access to Branson entertainment We enjoyed our stay and will return.

We enjoyed the free pancakes for breakfast. This park is very well located for all the shows and once you become familiar with the red, blue and yellow routes, you can move around with ease from this park. Sites are big enough to handle all rigs. Clean and quite. We will stay here again.

| Loved the park except for wifi and cable

By user-5580037... on 2017-10-23.

We stayed at the park for 9 days . Great location and facility. The wifi was unusable (5 to 10 seconds to load a mobile page). We had about 40 cable channels and approximately 1/2 of them were fuzzy. Unfortunately, good wifi and cable are important to us. Next trip to Branson we will probably stay at the other Koa. We have stayed there before and the wifi/cable were excellent. It is a very nice park too.

| Great RV Park & Cabins in Branson

By user-5884193... on 2017-10-23. Stayed 2017-03-17 to 2017-03-21

My wife and I visited the Branson, MO KOA in early spring for a five day get away and to visit Silver Dollar City. We found the KOA phone app reservation process very easy to use. At check in we were greeted by two friendly staff members and escorted to our large RV site. Per our request, we were placed in a quiet area with mature trees and our pull-thru site had a large concrete patio area and two picnic tables. There are many amenities in this park including many restroom/shower houses throughout the park, a central Laundromat, a playground, a fenced pet play area, a large group indoor pavilion and several smaller picnic shelters. This campground also includes park cable and wireless wifi. My only negative comment is that it was not made known at check in that some restroom/shower houses were not open and/or experiencing hot water issues. All in all this is a very nice campground and we plan to return in the future.

| Clean, peaceful and convenient

Wide spaceship and wide roads make this park big rig easy. Friendly knowledgeable staff can assist you with discounted tickets to Branson's top attractions and shows. When we were there they had all you can eat pancakes for $1. Located close enough to the heart of the show district to come and go with ease. Yet, just far enough off the strip to be quiet and restful.

This KOA was in a very good location - not far from beautiful Table Rock Lake and not far from 'the strip'. We don't stay at KOA's typically because we feel they are over priced and this is no exception. However, we attended a Heartland Rally and had no choice. I have 3 complaints - 1. the sites are so close together I couldn't breath; 2. It was 92 degrees and the pool was covered (not opened?) ; 3. KOA's are over priced. Otherwise the park was clean, the staff were very nice, and the meeting room and facilities were fine. Utilities worked fine and the wifi was okay. The sites were level and not nearly long enough but, because the roads were wide, parking was okay even though your truck stuck out in the road. A side note: They had golf carts for rent to the tune of $55 per day! EGads! You can rent an economy car for that much!

We stayed 3 nights in May. Last time we stayed, about 15yrs ago, the park was smaller, gravel and dirt roads and sites. We were very surprised how nice it is now.

Campground was very clean, well manicured. Park is hilly. They have a nice breakfast for a small fee but pancakes are free. They also have golf carts, pontoons and kayaks to rent. Very close to all attractions but far enough away that you don’t hear the traffic. We will be back!!

| Nice KOA

Very nice KOA with great wifi. Only reason I am giving it only 4 stars is because the sites are a little cramped when you have someone next to you. It is as though they wanted to squeeze in smaller units in wherever they could. We were lucky and this didnt happen to us, but if it did their septic conectors would have been right next to our picnic area. Other than that, it was a good location and pretty quiet. Staff is the best and very helpful.

We enjoyed our time at this park. Staff is very responsive. Level, paved lots, full hook ups. Rented the community center for family reunion. Great facilities.

This is an older park that has been expanded in 3 phases. It has some small older sites and newer pull through and premium sites. Very well maintained. Entire staff is extremely customer service oriented and helpful. Free pancakes with small extra for sides. Park infrastructure is being updated and maintained. Lots of seasonal flowers. WiFi in process of major upgrade.
