Nice park paved roads and sites. Sites are very narrow, if you or neighbors have slides no room for awnings or picnic tables.
From the time you pull in to the time you leave the staff are always there for you. We have stay here many times and have never had a surprise. Job well done!
Stayed two nights at this park. They have an attendant on duty hours a day. They also patrol the park as I saw them go by on a golf cart at 2:30 AM. Each site has concrete pad and patio with picnic table. Have family that has been in this park for at least two weeks and they have had no issues. Camped in a 40' fifth wheel. This is a Passport America park. We recommend this park and would stay here again.
We had a good time hear for a week last week. A bit tight but no problems. Some mud and puddles, soggy grass due to rain but no big deal. Had cable, 50amp, water and sewage. Lake is decent and had turtles, ducks, and fish. If you walk around lake you'll find a few secret nests of eggs. Many were broken unfortunately. Not sure if due to kids, dogs, or what?. We walked dogs near back fence with no probs. Bags and trash cans are convenient. Access to freeway and gas were no problem.
Staff was helpful and friendly. Level sites, mostly pull through. Pretty convenient to city.
Here for 9 days. Quite and clean. Well managed and friendly staff. Billy Bob's RV Repair ( 24 hour service) close to Park . My experience with them 5 stars.
Originally planned to stay for 1-2 nights but stayed for 6 nights. Very nice park with a "summer camp" feel. A lot of staff that keeps the park very clean and maintained and always greet you with a smile and hello. Monday and Friday nights they cook a great dinner with all the trimmings for a very nominal price. Saturday and Sunday mornings they do the same for breakfast. A lot of full time and contractors but that should not discourage you. Park is clean, quiet, and everyone is friendly. Park is very convenient to all of the San Antonio area attractions. We even drove to Corpus Christi for the day. They accept Passport America with no stipulations making this a fantastic value. Would definitely stay again.
Some sites are a bit tight. But if you ask for a wider site the folks are very accommodating. Great for long or short stay. Super cable & wifi is just fine. Meals were very good for the price. Pool was very nice. Wish we could have stayed longer. Lots of friendly staff & campers.
Sites are level, long but a bit close together. Very clean park, laundry, restrooms. Staff extremely pleasant and helpful. My only negative was the traffic and train noise. Large open park.
Well done on a clean well run , and friendly RV resort. The showers are excellent. Keep it up.
We only stayed two nights but everyone was so nice. They escorted us to our site. Very clean. Using passport america prices very great. Had pool hot tub. To much to mention. Went to river walk and alamo. Great. To see. Will stay there again
Wow! Great place to stay! Very nice employees, great site and no road noise. Cleanest restrooms we've seen since we left home. Thank you so much. We will definitely stay there again.
First let s start with positives- low rate with passport America, staff was friendly and helpful. Easy in and out. 15 minutes from San Antonio. They lead to your site . Now the negatives - while they were lewdinf us to our site we passed about 10 open sites ,they put us right between two other motorhomes - we figured it was filling up at night. Not so - they were open in the Am. When we opened our slides we could have reached out the window and touched our neighbors. We had no issues with that but if they would have been loud it would have been a problem. We were only there for 1 night - so ok, not sure why they crammed us in. WiFi was not strong - some road noise from interstate and a train ever so often. Overall not really a resort and not what we expected from other reviewers.
You know, although my last review was only negative about cellular and WiFi services and, only mentioned Mike being a cool dude, I forgot to mention the ladies in the office too. (Ladies in the office), my apologies for not giving y'all the attention you deserve and for that, I am returning just to show you that I think y'all are cool too)! Don't forget to keep stocked up on Big Red for me! Can't remember the exact dates, but it was this year on a couple of occasions. See y'all soon! Roy Mosmeyer
We stayed 4 nights here and had a very nice stay. Good sized sites and good utilities. Bath and shower were very nice. It was very cold so we didn't ever use the pool or hot tub. With passport america it was only $27 per night, a great bargain.
This park is easy to get to, large with a nice lake stocked with fish. It's catch and release only, but no license required. Site all have concrete pads to set up on, and hookups are very easy to get at. I believe all sites have 30 and 50 amp electrical. Free WiFi and cable with 58 stations! The staff is terrific and the store carries many essentials for camping. They have a fenced in dog run and poop bags dispensers around the park. It's the only park we've been in so far that also has trash barrels along every road in the park. The Passport America discount makes it very affordable to stay here.
Place is quiet!! Every july while on summer travel we parked their for a week. Place is quiet and clean. The way its suppose to be
