We happened on this campground on our way cross country. It is off the beaten path, and has quite a few seasonal campers so getting the site we did was lucky. Brookside Beach sits atop a bluff overlooking Lake Erie. There are very few trees, but the views are breathtaking. A pathway to the water's edge us an easy walk, and well worth the effort. We stayed an extra night just because of the laud back, relaxing atmosphere. The condition of the laundry and batroom facilities were way below what I expected from such a well manicured setting. An upgrade there would make this a full 5 star campground.
