Reviews for Buffalo Crossing RV Park

| Lost our confirmed reservation

When we arrived at Buffalo Crossing RV Park, they were full. They did not have any information about our confirmed reservation. We showed them the print out. They said there was nothing they could do about it. This campground is nothing but a gravel lot. Luckily, Grizzly RV Park could accommodate us. I would have written this sooner, but I was going through cancer treatment.

| Nice RV park

Very nice campground. Well maintained, clean sites. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Restrooms and showers appeared clean. Laundry facilities are decent, $2 wash, 25 cents per 10mins of drying time. Took over 60mins to dry small loads. Need updated appliances. Wifi is lacking, but they warn you about it. Need to run hubs around the park. Sites are level and gravel. Best thing is that your less than 1 mile from Yellowstone entrance, get to the gate early or you'll be in traffic lines for a good 20mins or so.

Has all the necessities, Laundry, Showers, Restrooms, Water, Electricty., WiFi, Sewer hook up, Pet friendly, Very friendly staff, plus 2 free tickets to the Imax. As you can see everything is graveled but clean, no shade but we didn't spend much time there except to sleep. I would recomend it to any one. We will return next time we're in West Yellowstone.

The staff here are fantastic. Discount tickets to the IMAX with some great wildlife shows and a movie in the evening. Convenient location, well maintained. I'd recommend it to anyone and will always stay here!

You couldn't find a nicer park. Wonderful restrooms and showers and very clean. Grizzly & Wolf rescue is right there, the big IMAX theater, good dog park, restaurant and the nicest people! Also a store and great shops. You can walk right to town to other restaurants and shops. Two blocks from the entrance to the park. They now have wooden decks. Went twice in 2014. We give it . Love it

We stayed here the first summer they opened (2012) so we came back. It was good then and it's better now. I read the negatives in previous posts. The folks at the campground can't control the wind. I have a good WiFi connection. The folks are friendly and helpful. Yes, it's limited in grass areas so pet owners may have difficulties getting you pet to "GO"! Our stay has just started. The weather prediction isn't too bad so it should be a great week. $50 a night is reasonable for the area.

| Good Value for money

Supernice and helpful staff. Clean and well functioning bathrooms. Hot water. Wifi was decent. Location obviously great but west yellowstone is so small it doesn't really make a difference in travel time to the park

| Too windy & dusty & stupid pet enclosure rule.

Where to begin? Park gets 5 stars for location. Close to park entrance, downtown, Imax , etc. 50 bucks a night for a a pull-thru. Each pull thru site has a nice little grass area. HOWEVER, cannot use that area for a portable pet enclosure. Not very animal friendly. can tie them to the picnic table, but not put them in the enclosure. No shelter from the wind. Could only cook early AM. Almost lost my awning. Every afternoon, heavy winds. No trees of consequence to block the wind. Don't leave car windows open unless you love a thick layer of dust. They have several dry-camp spots around the perimeter. We were treated to a large dry-camp coach firing up the generator at 7:00 AM every morning and every evening up til 10:00. Small park, so you could be close to one of these spots. We didn't find the staff to be particularly friendly, especially of the pet enclosure issue. We'll go back but won't stay there. Other parks are a few minutes east of town and a less dusty and more pet friendly AND they're not $50 bucks a night.

| Nice and clean

Nice park. Simple with gravel driveways and small patch of grass between slots. Not much privacy between slots. Great location and would stay here again. Hosts grumpy and anxious to close down the RV park for the season.

We have been there 3 times now. Staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Super clean restrooms and laundry. Pull-through sites are nice and clean. Will stay here everytime we go back to West Yellowstone.

| Not a resort

By user-5231455... on 2018-05-17.

Very nice RV parking lot with full hook ups. Nice people working there. But it’s NOT what you call a resort. Walking distance into town very convenient to West Yellowstone and Old Faithful. It’s very clean and well maintained. Would stay again if we are back that way. Books quickly in summer months. Reservations needed ahead of time.

Had great two week stay here in 40 MH pulling a trailer. This is gravel parking with grass in front with picnic table. Very convenient to downtown.
