Reviews for Burrell Park & Campgrounds

| Relaxing spot

We paid 20$ a night for full hookups including free WIFI and firewood. Showers are a little outdated but, clean. We stayed 2 nights in a 25 foot airstream. We would stay again if we are in the area. Only giving four stars since the roads to the park are narrow gravel country roads.

| Great value - picturesque location!

Great city park campground in a very quiet setting. Large trees for shade are no problem for big rvs they have been pruned. Hiking trails and clean restrooms. Picnic table and fire pit at each site. Free firewood provided by staff from downed trees in the park. Full hookups all for $16 per night! We camped a 5th wheel.

Did not stay, just drove through but it is still $20 or $8 for tents. Pull thru sites, new playground, back in sites. There are some big 5th wheels and Class A here. Still free firewood too!

Stopped here for the night on our way home based on the reviews and were not disappointed. Located outside ofCarmi on top of a hill nestled in the trees with ample space between each concrete pad. Had full HU for only $20. Didn t find out until we were leaving that they had free WiFi too! There are train tracks nearby, but they were not an issue. Would definitely stay here again.

Stopped in in our trip out west. Nicely maintained campground run by the city. Concrete pads, clean facilities, 20/30/50 AMP electric, sewer and water which you may have to share with your neighbor so bring a splitter. One issue is the signs in the park don't provide directions, so stay to the right when you enter the park for the campground. Depending on the direction you are coming Google maps tends to take you around the block a few times to get there. The City has nice blue and white "CAMPING" signs, follow those and you will be fine. Best part its $20 per night maximum stay 14 days, no reservations.
