You have to endure some train traffic near the campgrounds. A main rail thoroughfare is right across the river from the facility. Not bad for a train lover like me, but a westbound train horn startled my 1-year-old at 3am.

You couldn't do much better for a family-owned secluded campground. All kinds of activities for your kids (not much for toddlers or infants), theme weekends (we were there for the wine tasting and "kid's carnival weekend 6/5-7/15). Very well groomed, level sites, in a valley surrounded by mountains. Mini golf, peddle carts, lazer tag, a great playground, river tubing and more. We left exhausted, quite happy, and looking at our calendar to figure out how soon we could get back.

The staff was friendly. With so much to do with the kids I don't know how they could keep up. Can't wait for our next trip there. Love the river too!!! We lost count of how many fish we saw.

Travel trailer/August 4nt stay (3 campers). Great campground! Nice friendly staff, clean bathhouses, BEAUTIFUL grounds. Loved our sites, so spacious. We enjoyed floating the river and all the weekend activities. Especially the fresh kettle cooked fries..JUST like boardwalk fries. Sorry we couldnt stay longer and can't wait to go back.

Great place to. Staff is friendly. Park is clean and doesn't cost an arm and a leg to spend the night
