Don't be fooled by the inexpensive price. It might not have a swimming pool or Laundry, but it is clean and pretty as can be. Owner has been there 25 years and it shows. And she has happy hour from 4:30-6:30 where you can meet the neighbors. Pretty landscaping and you can walk to the lake to fish if so inclined. $15 plus elec. Our elec. With a 39 footer on 50 amp with both a/c's running Was Only $2 a day.
Your host and owner CJ is a fascinating person. Full of charm and friendliness. Greeted us, helped park our coach and immediately invited us to their daily happy hour. Loved it! Right on the lake. Can't understand why $15.00 a night. Landscape is awesome, very clean. Will stay here again.
We knew we wanted to stay somewhere near Truth or Consequences. After reading reviews, we threw the dice and gambled on this place. Let me tell you, we hit the lottery! Sites are spacious enough, accommodated our rig and Jeep without unhooking (60’ in length), and only $15 (plus electric which is minimal). CJ also invited us for “Happy Hour” and provided snacks. Eric found a common bond with a Vietnam Vet and enjoyed swapping stories. We also found that a couple was from MI near where Eric grew up, and they even had family in the town where his best friend lives. Such a small world! This will definitely be on our list of stops when needing an overnight while traveling thru the area!
CJ is WONDERFUL. It is an awesome place to stay. Everybody is super friendly. Small park. Very well kept.
Spotless. Level pull sites. Owned and operated by a most charming lady (for 25 years). Great happy hours every evening at the owners patio, sometime, live music. Great hiking psths for dog walking down by the lake.
We really wanted to stay here, but found out that we couldn’t because children are not allowed.
Great stay CJ is great, weather great but a little windy.
Look high . Look low . You won't find a more friendly , clean place to hang your hat !! Thanks C. J.
