A Bit Overwhelming
By user-6228291... on 2017-10-23.
We took the warning and arrived early, a bit after 1:30P. Holy sapphire - what a busy place! Horse trailers w/ campers, Coaches, TTs dropped etc. We found the pull throughs and got one but it was a bit close for us, plus the one we had to take was beside the dumping station. Phew, eeee! So we moved to the gravel on the other side of the building.
Went inside to make a purchase and asked about overnight on the side we were on, told it was ok. Also asked about dogs in the store (non-service dogs)......yes, ok on leash just please keep away from the food court! Sweet!
We made our purchase, will use the water and dumping tomorrow perhaps. The side with the dog kennels and horse ex areas a bit to tight for our likening. We appreciate Cabela's hospitality and will reward them with our business. A tip of the hat to the company!

Awesome Stop for RV's
By user-5561019... on 2017-10-23.
Stayed 2015-07-25 to 2015-07-26
Cabelas is right off of 90 and has an entire side of their store dedicated to RV parking. Over a dozen long pull through sites (we have a 43ft motorhome and tow a pickup truck and fit easily without unhooking). Horse and dog kennels are available for use, there's even a dump station! Cabelas staff were very friendly and the store is awesome.
We occasionally overnight at Home Depot or Walmart but have never experienced such an awesome area dedicated to RV overnighting.

Monday's Make a difference!
By user-6228291... on 2017-10-23.
Had work done in Billings yesterday and it took all day. Came back to Cbelas for the night as there was just one more thing I wanted and purchased at a better bargain then Sunday. Nearly all the hubbub from Sunday was gone. Quiet a few places to choose from.
Not sure what is up with the ramshackle Prowler TT occupying one of the pull through site, all jacked and just set up. It was there Sunday all hooked up with a big cord to the store. Today when we got in it was still there, unoccupied when we got in around 7P and by morning - a car, truck, guys and gal with yellow electric cord strung to the back of the store again! Amazing what some folks will do! Perhaps, b merit of the doubt as they are resetting the store it is a group of transit workers with permission to use the electric - I hope so and God Bless if they are her working!
Thank you Cabela's!

Its Game
By user-5094849... on 2017-10-23.
You can stay here. We stayed here with 4 other brand new units just like we have. Glad this place allows RVers! Otherwise Billings would miss out on the hundreds of dollars in revenue to what it looks daily. We spent $200 our self at Walmart and dining. We hate campgrounds.

We did not spend the night, but dropped by to dump tanks and refill water today, for $5.00. Three other RV’s parked in the lot, looks like nice area to stop. Thanks, Cabelas!

Good, easy, free
By user-5863191... on 2019-08-09.
Good access, right off I90. Easy to pull thru. The price is right. Cabelas staff was very helpful, even 10 min before closing. Dog kennel was a nice addition. Recommend, two paws up.

Great for a stop over
By user-5808453... on 2019-08-09.
This was a stop on our way to Oregon. Nice looking dry camp sites with a place you can fill up with water and a dump station for $5. Spaces are like rest stops for trucks right next to each other close but long. We were lucky and arrived about 3:00 and quite a few sites available so got an end site so put bedroom slide out. Had a tree and green space next to us. Sweet! There are a few fast food type restaurants about 1/2 mile(walking distance). Went into Cabela's and purchased to thank them.

Close to cheap fuel

If you're a Sam's club member, Cabela's is next door. Cheapest diesel around is at Sam's.

Very loud

Good spot for overnight parking. Close to shops and restaurants. It's right next to the highway and it was really loud. Normally highway noise is more like white noise but it seems to be the spot where all the trucks hit their brakes.

Had no overnight parking signs all through the carpark

Great for an overnight
By user-unknown on 2019-08-09.
Want to say THANKS to Cabela s for allowing overnights! Designated, safe RV parking on the east side of the building (between the and Sam s Club). They even have potable water and a dump station ($5 fee or go buy something and they give you a code?). We did not use the dump station, but am happy they have it available. Only cons, it s close to I-90 so you can hear some traffic and there is a train that rolls through.

"Boondocking"
By user-5236260... on 2019-08-09.
We spend our first "boondocking" (hahaha) at this spot! Right when you drive in you'll see the signs directing you for the designated truck/RV parking area. Dump station is available for $5 or buy something inside and ask the Customer service for the code. Water is available too. Please don't park at the spot closest to the dumping station (like the other guy did) so people like us and some other people that wants to empty their sewer can get in and out easily. Sam's club is close for cheap fuel (diesel and gas).
By user-6508211... on 2019-08-09.
Signs, even in the RV area, in parking lot say No Overnight Parking. However, we asked inside and a very nice young lady told us we were welcome to stay overnight as long as we are Cabela s Club members. However, no one came around to check so it seems that it is not enforced. The RV section filled up completely. By morning, people had parked in the front parking lot and even overflowed into the Sams Club parking lot too. Didn t seem to matter.
One bus several sites down from us ran their generator all night, but it was not a problem. A little noise from the interstate, but again, it wasn t loud enough to be a problem. There is a dump station there, but we didn t use it. I believe it s free for Cabela s Club (ask for code inside) and $5 for anyone else. Would definitely stay there again!

Best Cabelas!
By user-unknown on 2019-08-09.
Great spot. Minimal noise although you can hear some freeway traffic. Potable water available. Dump station for Cabelas members or go inside for a code. Corrals for 3 horses. Dog area. I parked between Cabelas and Sams near these services. Others also parked on the other side of Cabelas. Probably 15 RVs all together. One sign said no overnight parking. One sign said max 10 hours.
