Cabin Creek is at 3200 Wilmington Hwy. Jacksonville, NC. We couldn't find it and used Walmart instead!

Good place to stay in the area if not paying for the water fronts and don’t have access to the Marine Corps’ facility. GPS took me straight to location with no issues and easy to see with a late night arrival.

Fantastic staff and very family friendly park! We had a great Easter celebration egg hunt for the children the day we arrived and our 3 plus weeks here have been very peaceful and pleasant. We highly recommend this park and look forward to venturing here again one day!

We stayed at Cabin Creek for 3 days, tues thru Thur in a 38 5th wheel. RV park was at 80-90% capacity, mostly longer term campers (contractors and possibly military associated with nearby Marine base). 50amp elect site was not avail but 30 amp was adequate this time of year (ran only 1 AC). Pull through site was level gravel with room for tow vehicle parking, Opposing slides could be opened with ~12-15 to adjacent RV, too windy to put out awning. Open camp fires are not permitted. Cable TV is provided by Spectrum, office provides a remote to use with your RV set to channel 4, a list of available channels is provided and there is an on screen menu. WiFi is free and was reliable, likely would not support streaming, would require logging in each day or sometimes more often, easy to do tho. We did not use bath house or laundry, appeared to be clean and functional, it is closed hour and half each morning for cleaning. Park is clean and well maintained, occupants were quiet and respectful during our visit, it is close to Jacksonville and Military base. There is traffic noise in the morning when people are leaving the park and from the nearby hwy 17. The Marine base is home to VTOL Osprey and helo aircraft which at times makes some noise, I am happy to hear our military doing there thing to improve their proficiency. This is not a resort style RV park meaning there are not planned activities, swimming pool, etc etc, we knew that from looking at web site and it worked great for us providing a safe place to park our RV while we visited the Jacksonville area. There are large open places to walk or take your pet.. on leash for exercise. It appeared most people followed the rules and had their pets on leash and picked up the poop. The RV park is still recovering from the hurricane of 2018 and there may be improvements in future. We would stay here again.
