Rates have risen to $38.00 a night. FHU's, but utilities not close together. 30-50 amp. Gravel interior roads and gravel pull-thrus and back-ins. No cable. Could only get one TV station. Wi-fi good. Little pricey for what you get.
We lost electric at 10:00 pm, and called but no one responded. Went without power all night in very hot temps!! Called again early morning...no response. Went to office....still closed at 8:00 a.m. When we checked out no one even offered half money returned! Very poor management, very lousy service. Meter had completely shut down....just like management. They are interested in just your $....stay away from here!!
We had some trouble with our motorhome, so this was very convenient right off the highway. Very surprised because of that reason, our quaint little Lake we pulled right up to I'm and gravel Landing, very nice picnic table Park was very clean and quiet. We were far enough away from the highway we didn't notice the traffic. I would recommend it. Prices were average. Service was very friendly. WiFi was our TV source. Couldn't get any Chicago channels at all. Which surprised me. I would go back. We had 50 amp service, water which wasn't real tasty, and Sewer.
Enjoyed my stay at Caboose Campground, granted I wasn't here for the activities which their seemed to be a lot going on. It still was quite and peace full. Reasonable rate for the weekly camper. Earl
Campground was clean, pond was nice. The down side was the freeway noise. We were by the off ramp and the trucks would put there engine brakes on rattle to a stop.
Stopped on way south price posted 43.00 full services with this being off season checked on price up to 46.08 pulled in signs saying no turn around. Woman ask husband well how are you getting out there is no turn around,he said no problem I'll back out,she said well do t hit my blocks. Husband says do t care about blocks I care.about my rig! Well we are on the rd again
Sunday overnight, late arrival. Super helpful staff, beautiful spot right on the lake with plenty of grass. There is interstate nouse but not bad and the trade-off for the convenience of being 1/4 mile from exit. Spotless bathroom/shower. Would stay again.
The Electric is towards the front (I couldn t reach with my 30 ft cord), water bibs are facing even further front, and yet sewer is spot on. Level gravel sites with grass between lots. Lots are fairly narrow and owner decided to plant trees between which while it may add limited privacy, it also will make entering and exiting more challenging plus potentially scratch up rigs or inhibit slide outs.
we do like this place and it's big, clean, spots are good, utilities worked good, didn't have any problem with utilities they were within 15ft of my trailer and good voltage, staff was great, no complaints, some other folks don't like the traffic noise(didn't bother us) as its next to I65 so don't stay here, we will come back, we stayed in a 34ft TT front Dayton , Oh
