This is where our family loves to camp! We have camped here for the last 5 years! It has always been in a tent. We love the feel of out door living with the convince of a small store on grounds. The kids would ride their bike there everyday for an ice cream or pop cycle! This place has an amazing little program for the children to get to go on hikes with the rangers and make projects and earn badges. Parents can participate!!! It has a pool, however you have to pay to use it and it is closed on Mondays. They have a lake that you can rent a boat and tool around in. There is also a play ground, laundry mat and showers. They do a fabulous job at keeping it all clean! As well as the fire pits at each camp site. And if you need anything you can call the ranger on duty! You can fish and really explore this place! For the active child this is paradise for the parent of active children this place is a god send!

Disappointed in this park Site very uneven. Lots of holes from some underground animals It even has a ditch thru the middle from maintenance. Pay showers $0.50 for 3 minutes Lake is extremely low.

| Great Fishing!

This lake is beautiful, with plenty of fishing! We stayed here over Easter weekend in 2013, and had a great time fishing at the lake. We tent camped with a group, which all fit nicely on two adjacent spaces. The kids loved the nature center, which had plenty of cool things to look at and do. Only downside for us was the long ride to get there... over 3 hours from where we live, otherwise we'd probably go again.

| Nice park, but over priced.

The sites are big enough. The convenience store is nice to have. The lake unfortunately has almost dried up due to the drought, but pretty still. But fishing and water access are severely limited. The laundry facility and swimming pool were closed. He Internet was shotty at best. They advertised 50 amp hookups, which we reserved but the site only had 30 amp. Nice park, but certainly over priced considering the lack of options (partially due to weather conditions) and lack of open facilities.

| Beautiful Surroundings - plenty of spaces

We came here late evening and spend only one night. It is a huge site and certainly good for families with kids. Unfortunately the restroom I used was ran down and not very clean - shame for that place!
