Only open April - October 10. Fall is the best time of year. Why closed so early? Bummer.
On the Cumberland river. Quiet. Small. Easy pull ins and pull throughs. Near a large grocery store (Kroger) and Gallatin. Great get away.
Great campground! Campfires welcome. We enjoyed the spacious beach. Clean and friendly. Stayed 10 nights in 34 ft motorhome. Spacious and level sites. Great rates! This park is a hidden jewel! Benders Ferry is an exit off of the main road. Don't take GPS suggested when traveling East. Once on Benders Ferry Rd watch carefully for the COE sign on the right (MANY have missed it!)
