This is a nice quant rustic RV park. They have full hook up or you can just hook ur electric and water and use there showers and bathrooms. We was only going to stay 1 night and ended up staying 3. My motorhome is 38 ft but I wasnt even the big boy there lol. I seen a 45 ft Big Rig conversion and they had him in a large pull thru site. I will be back!
This place was really a pleasant surprise. We had a pull-through spot in the middle of the park and loved it. Lots of room and really quiet. The work campers who managed the park were really nice and helpful. The only negative was no pool... but no biggie for us.
We spent a month at the Camelot RV Campground while husband did a contract in Poplar Bluff. We had a nice long and level pull-through site with full hookups. There were an abundance of trees around our site but we were still able to get satellite reception, in addition to the cable TV service provided by the campground. The Tengo Internet wasn't very reliable which was rather surprising since the park was largely empty. Although the campground is close to a highway, we couldn't hear any highway noise from our rig. There's not a lot going on near the campground but the Poplar Bluff business district is only about 3 miles away. There are some good state parks within a short drive of the campground.
They don't take credit or debit cards. So bring your cash. And if you have dogs, this is NOT a dog friendly place. I think they think they are. Your dog is only allowed in one 20 x 20 section of the entire property. Don't even think about taking them around to check out the rest of the place. They aren't allowed. Other than that this seemed to be a very typical RV park.
This was a clean well run facility. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We came in after dark and had 4 different people help us to find our pot, get backed in, and figure out the bathroom codes. The bathrooms locks & codes were a more work than I thought. There is only a older single bathroom for each women's & men's for the whole campground, but they are very clean. Kinda hard when more than one person has to go. Showers (2 stalls for each, men's & women's) were hot and very clean. The wifi was down when we visited. We have 3 children and there is no playground or any good place to run around for kids. Not too much of a problem as we only stayed for the night & I took the kids to a nearby McDonald's with an awesome indoor playplace while my husband broke down the camper the next morning. We camped in a pop up. Gave it 4 stars even though it isn't family friendly in the layout because it is very well maintained with friendly staff.
Clean grounds, close to stores and shopping. Great for over nights or a quick trip. Not much for young children to do. Gravel pads but level. Propane fill up on site.
Only stayed here one night but such a lovely park! The owners are fabulous. We have a 39' 5th wheel - the lanes/spots are tight but the owner led us to our site and helped guide our RV into a pull through spot. Full hookups, shady spots (some pull throughs are in open sun but we were not) and friendly area. Will definitely return when in the area. **CASH/CHECK payment only - no credit cards**
Stayed here a week,loved it. They put us in the very end of the park in a great site. Tim and all the staff were very helpful.The roads in the park are tight,but we had no problems with our 40 ft motor home with toad hooked up. All hook ups were great .Cash or check only,but rates are great because of it!!
Lovely campground, clean and quiet. Special dog area to walk our dogs. Campground host took us to our site and made sure we had clearence for our slides. He was very helpful. Will stay here again on next trip.
Beautiful park, wooded and you almost feel like you're in a state park. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is the slow wifi.
We stopped here for an overnight stay. Very nice campground. Camp hosts were very friendly. Laundry facility very nice & restrooms were clean.
Very nice campground. Gravel, level sites. Just hard to find with Maps app. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.
