Cameron Trading Post RV Park

| Basic site no facilities but awesome trading post

Park is basically a dirt parking lot with hookups. No facilities but the big plus is the trading post across the road. Upscale dinning room and enormous gift shop. There's also a motel and very nice art gallery. It sits the Little Colorado River gorge (no water!) and next to a historical bridge that is no longer in use. Actually this trading post is about all there is to Cameron. We ended up there only because the Grand Canyon Desert View campgrounds were full. Traveled in an Airstream. It's okay to stop for a while to sleep. Lots of highway noise though. The sewer connection is very high, so it will pool up the poo in the hose. Several stray dogs and local children running through the grounds.

Kinda close spots -- glad we didn't have campers on either side of us. Some campers pulled in backwards so they were using the wrong hookups. Not too many campgrounds outside of Grand Canyon Park (which were full).

Traveling cross country to get home to florida for the winter season We wanted to rest near a close entry to the north rim of the Grand Canyon. The nights stay was 36 bucks across the street from the extra large tourist trap trading post with restaurant. The trading post seemed very well managed and clean. The rv spot was just ok but provided us with a good nights sleep. We couldn t here the traffic from the high way since we packed in the back spot closer to the local trailer park that was very quite. Rv Parky is an awesome ap!!!!
