Great little RV park. We stayed in a 42 foot MH and enjoyed the convenient location. Jeff the owner was very accommodating.
We arrived at this park in the middle of a rain and wind storm and immediately new we would stay place was very nicely kept, clean, looked friendly and was. Jeff the owner told us which spots were available and advised us to take 25 which was in the back of the park away from the street, had some protection from the wind and was a pull through and we would not even have to on hitch from the truck in the down pour in less we needed to as the site was level enough to leave the truck hooked up. Pet friendly with a cute area for dogs or big grassy area through the hedge next door. Yes we will stay here again if in the area. Note this is not a big park or fancy one more for us blue collar people.
This park is clean and has a great manager (Jeff) and camp host. The sites are level. FHUs and basic cable, WiFi was sometimes good and sometimes too slow for even email. The cons are that most sites are so close together there is no room for anything-won’t even fit a picnic table between them, and it’s right off 101 so you will have some road noise. Stayed a week at the Passport America rate and saw everything in the area. Would stay again if passing through.
We stayed here for a week . We roll in on Monday it s was only few spots open . Spots are small but grate place to stay and visit area around. Yes you are off 101 Hwy this is not secluded park and quite one. But - bathrooms are clean , showers are 0.25 cent for 10 min and water is hot. You have full hunk ups so no need to your shower out side if you don t want. Across of road you have a laundromat it s very convenient , dollar general and in walking distance you have a supermarket. All in all this is a grate place to stay for few days and explore area. Coffee shop - Tasty Kate s are amazing . The owner her self make all pastries every morning and always sold out by end of day . Across from her place you have Port Orford Co-Op place where you can find all organic shopping you want . Every Saturday morning from 9-12 they have fresh produce market . Check out Port Orford Heads State Park - free with amazing view on ocean and few trails for hiking bonus you can take your pup on with you! Griff s on the Dock - small awesome comfort food on the dock with most fresh sea food you can find. So enjoy this place you will love it, Big shut out to Jeff the opener of this camp ground, he help us with what we needed , help us with area to what to see and just chit chat with him absolutely lovely , if we in area we gonna stay here again, hands down, !
Great location! Friendly staff even after hours arrival. Clean well kept grounds. Didn t check laundry or public restrooms. Lake within walking distance. Cons: very tightly packed and not much privacy or space between sites and no kids play area.
We needed a couple days of rest and services after drydocking for several days. We were headed to Redwood National Park and this Campground was about half way. We got in late, but they gave us a site number over the phone. We stayed 2 nights, got showers and did laundry. I'd gladly stay there again
