Seems a well maintained campground. Has water for washing and toilets, just not for drinking. I did not notice any statement about that on their website when I made the reservation. Can park at Midway airport and ride orange line L into Chicago. Lots of open sites on weekdays.
Great campround, especially if you re a mountain biker
One of the closest parks we could find near Chicago. The staff went above and beyond to help me organize our days stay so we wouldn t have to jump sites multiple times. There s kayaks and such for rent and docks for fishing. Sites are level, but watch out for the trash bag hook! That part wasn t thought out very well. It makes the sites a lot narrower and/or difficult to put your slides out. We are 40 with slides and were able to fit in a 30 site. There are no trees in the park to obstruct. Out of state guests pay more per night. Veterans get the best deal ever! Would definitely stay again!
