This was our first experience with a military campground and it will definitely not be our last. What a beautiful camp. The campsites were like parking in a beautifully groomed park. They were vary spacious, had beautiful shade covering trees and tons of open grassy areas surrounding each site. There was a nice hiking area by a stream that leads to a beautiful lake where there was a lot of fishing. Also a lovely lodge ideal for weddings or other events. It even had adorable cabins. Wonderful friendly staff and other campers. We loved it. .. wish we could have stayed longer. Definitely check out the Patton Museum on Ft. Knox. Very very nice!
Just an FYI, you must me military to book here.
The park is for military with ID only. Nice park and good sites with full hook-ups. The only downsize is no connectivity within the park. They do not have a WiFi and if you are a AT&T customer you will have to drive couple miles out to be able to surf the web.
