If I never get to Heaven at least I made it to "Camp Gulf" Every owner of any campground in the country should come here and see how it is done properly. Right from the get go, pulling our rig in the staff was right there to welcome us with open arms...helping me back in (never have been to good at that) to asking if they could help with our sewer lines, electrical, unloading??? Wait a minute pinch me here!! We have now been here three days, and we cannot believe how wonderful this gorgeous facility is...Bathrooms?? You want to talk about Bathrooms??? WOW..cleaner and more updated than ours at home room even with stereo piped in for a ultimate visit. The Laundry Room is unheard of huge folding tables and a big screen tv to watch your favorites while folding.. The indoor pool I am speechless..got my knees replaced a year ago and this pool is the exact temp I need ..Jacuzzi forget about it ..The security here is also top notch don't think you are going to speed around here these folks will remind you immediately its all about everyones safety ...And the BEACH well folks that just leaves me speechless you will just have to come to CAMP GULF write your own review ...Happy Trials..
Big park but yet has everything you want or need. Staff always around to lend a hand to make your stay better. Extremely friendly staff and vacationers. A walk to the beach is 5 minutes or less. Concrete pads very nice. Park very well maintained. Has indoor and outdoor pools. All services good, wi-fi a little slow at times, but all else a 10+. This east Tennessan (Knoxville) will be back. If you come here, you'll come back too!!
During our cross country trip from Ca we pulled in at 1am from Nashville and all of our documents were prepared. We booked 2 nights and we loved it so much we booked another night. It was extremely pricey but the location can't be beat. The facilities were clean and you can literally back onto the beach. The staff was very friendly and we were sad we had to leave. It is about 2300 miles from home but we will be back!
Agree with all the above comments and the best managed park to be so large. Lots of fun.
Not sure where to begin... the staff is absolutely wonderful and the location is absolutely perfect. We love this place and are already planning our next trip. Dog friendly...just wish they had a dog park. Can't go wrong at this place.
This is by far the best campground I've stayed at. We stayed in a spot (505) up front by the office, still an easy walk to the beach. Staff was very friendly and helpful, our spot was large, level cement pad. Great activities going on for the kids. We went for Christmas, would love to go back in the summer.
Staff escorts you to site anytime upon your arrival. Wide variety of site scenery options.
Staff greets you at the gate, helpful, frendly, clean showers, activities, clean beach, we will be back. Best we've ever seen.

This is one of the best parks I have been to. Had a great 10 days there.
The grounds and buildings are clean and will maintained. The staff go out of their way to make your time there peaceful. There is just nothing bad to say about Camp Gulf. If I could give a higher rating than 5 stars I would!
We started off going to Port St Joe, FL we cruised around and then we found our selves at Camp Gulf RV Park. Up on arrival we were told that a RoadTrek was not a motor home and we could not stay. After I showed them the plat on the side it was ok. Then we were placed in our camp site. It is a great place to camp, it was off season and the children were almost not there. it was quiet, peaceful and a great place to stay.
We loved this campground! Very clean and well maintained!! Beyond beautiful to be able to camp on the beach!!
An amazing place for a beech vacation. The staff is incredibly helpful. Expect someone to greet and guide you to your spot. They will be there by your side coaching, as necessary, until parked. Maintenance is rapid and friendly.
This is our 2nd time to book here. It truly is a beautiful RV Park right on the beach. My only 2 complaints would be it s over $200 a night which is pricey and you have no privacy! Destin is a great spot with awesome restaurants/shopping and so much to do! The RV Park is extremely clean and well run. Truly a beautiful spot!
They have amazing beach access, you could be at the farthest end of the park and walk to the beach in 3 minutes. They have 3 bath houses all clean and remodeled. Big laundry room. There is a nice play ground, 2 swimming pools. There were a lot of activities, though there were mostly geared towards mature adults.
Very tight sites. Park is nice and all but your crammed in like sardines and it s the the most expensive campground we ve ever stayed at. The beach here is ridiculously packed and the Destin traffic is horrible.
