Make your reservation well in advance ( as in months) lots of active duty homesteaders filling up the park
I almost had a heart attack when that bugle went off right next to me. I think revelee and flag raising is great but the location of that speaker is right outside the main office. This is a military campground. We stayed here because it is close to Washington DC. No signs to direct you to the campground. Great shower rooms and pretty grounds. It had a very good price compared to other campgrounds. Amy was a very nice person to work with. We had to leave a day early but they did not refund that last day. There is nothing for kids to do like a swimming pool or swing set.
