Wall to wall shade trees, nice views, a bit pricey for what you get; pool is closed; mostly W/E sites: one small grocery store nearby (3 miles); very few eateries but the park is quiet and peaceful; did I mention well shaded?
Quiet, peaceful and very shaded. Nice dog walk area around entire park perimeter. Sites are a bit shorter than norm if you don't unhook but still doable. Nice manager but no discounts. Clean restrooms and laundry. Don't miss the Wheat Montana bakery.
The park is a mile west of Three Forks. Pretty tight for any rig over 30 ft. Lots of low branches to scratch your coach. Mgt was very grumpy. Won't stay again
Stayed twice (10 days ) to & from Glacier. Spacious, shady sites. Quiet even not far from I90. Washrooms & laundry clean. No dog but plenty of grounds for a good walk & view of the mountains. VERY, VERY Friendly & accommodating owners & staff.
Very nice place to stay level sites lots of trees and very friendly people
Maybe it's my fault for not making arrangements sooner, as there was very little availability in the Bozeman area... but I'm pretty disappointed this place is charging us extra per kid - regardless of age. They're only 5, 3 and 1. There was no mention of this on their website or on the phone when making the reservation. We ended up at $50 for a water/electric spot for the night. And the campground isn't anything particularly special. Playground is old, we're still packed in like sardines, spot wasn't level... Just feels incredibly family unfriendly with nickel and diming like that. Hadn't had that happen yet.
Roomy spaces. Park like setting. Islands of grass and shade trees with gravel parking spaces. Laundry room was clean. $2.00 to wash. I have my own dryer. Beautifully landscaped, even has rabbits! We had to buy 2 lots as we are 60' long with motorhome and car trailer. Would definitely stay here again. We had water and 50amp service, but no sewer. Friendly, accommodating staff. I've seen other reviews about it being pricey, (we paid $48), but worth it to me. Very quiet.
Nice park with lots of shade trees. Away from the highway so no highway noise however there were dogs somewhere that barked all day long! Also couldn't understand why campfires were allowed during a time when the Montana sky was one big blanket of smoke due to fires in the NW. Reasonable rates. Clean restrooms.
Park is decent for an overnighter. Was a KOA but now privately owned. The managers are great and very accomodating, always a plus. The WiFi is okay. Laundry is pricey. Camp needs some TLC as areas are overgrown and/or downright dirty (path behind the laundry). Location is quiet with little highway noise - another plus. Spaces are spacious with lots of trees for shade. Didn't use restrooms/showers. Pool was closed and not sure if it is functional. Would stay here again when in the area.
Wonderful place! Stayed 2 nights. Water/ Electric only they do have R V dump. Camp host wonderful. Have great bathroom, showers, serve sodas, ice, ice cream in office. ( ice cream was great!). Large parking spaces. Enough room in between your neighbor. Lots of beautiful shade trees. Grounds well kept and maintained ,,, and this is a huge Camping park. They do everything to make it comfortable for you. We would definitely stay here again!
Three Folks Campground is a nice easy-off the interstate CG suitable for a night or two. Lots of shade trees and grassy common areas and quiet... Staff was super friendly and W/E site were level gravel with nice grass between sites. Wish we had time to explore Three Forks as it appeared to have lots of potential. Wifi access was excellent and fast. Laundry was good priced $2/wash and $1/dryer. Only downside- bathrooms and showers were really old and looked moldy. saw a number of 35+ Class As but could see it being tight to navigate with all the trees. Otherwise good stop/good location- maybe for a longer stay to see town
Pads gravel and not at all level. We had to raise the passenger side of our 25 ft RV about 6 inches. Shower okay, 3 stalls about what you'd expect from a road side RV park. Speaking of road side, the road is just on the other side of the fence, lot of noise. But all-in-all not a bad over night stop.
Stayed there a few days in July. Pros: friendly staff, lots of trees, good location near sites to visit. Cons: Close to interstate so noisy. This was formerly a KOA campground so sites are too short for larger rigs and packed close together. Our was not even close to level and too short so no room for tow vehicle. Corners have large wooden posts that make it hard to turn without damaging your rig. Trees everywhere make it hard to get rig around safely. Some low branches need to be trimmed. Bathroom/shower house was not cleaned whole time we were there. Showers were filthy. Floor was dirty. One urinal did not have running water and that part of bathroom stunk like 30 years of pee. Other urinal had same cigarette butt in it from the time we got there until time we left. People next to us had a "party trailer", an old pop up trailer that had been gutted and turned into a bar. Way too much drinking and yah-hooing going on. For price we paid not a good value. Will not return.
