This is an old campground for everything from big rigs to tents. There are lots of activities such as canoing, and kayaking which can be arranged through the office. There is a swimming pool, miniature golf, and pavilion that had activities over the Memorial Day Weekend when we were there. People are not particularly friendly. It is located in the heart of Amish country, so there are good restaurants and shopping. When we go back to that area, we will stay in another campground

Poor Treatment of Customers Beware of the poor professionalism of the owners of this campground as I recently experienced. The campground rules state that the canoe vans have the right away in their campgrounds. Some of parts of their steep gravel roads, going down to the primitive sites, are wide enough only for one vehicle at a time. When my rather large truck met one of their canoe vans on this narrow path, the passenger of the canoe van opened his door throwing his hands in the air and yelling profanity at me. I didn’t see him coming up the hill, so I immediately tried to get out of his way by backing up but my truck could not gain traction on their steep, gravel road. I was able to eventually maneuver my way off to the side of the road. The man then continued to yell profanity out the window of the canoe van at me as they drove past. I had my children with me at the time and could not make an immediate complaint at the office. Later in the day when I was able to talk to the owner at the camp store, she gave me a strong impression that she could care less about my encounter with the canoe vans and her staff. Come to find out the man that was yelling profanity at me was actually the co-owner of the campground!! Next time, I will take my hard earned money elsewhere, where my family and I are treated with more respect!
