We loved that it was off road. Our spot was wide, level and right on the water. Staff was friendly. Our #1 spot for this area
Overpriced. Water tasted and smelled like pond water. 1/2 mile drive has low branches on the sides and is a skinny road and the road has huge pot holes if it just rained. Guys at office don't care at all about you, they really don't.
We were able to last minute book a three day stay and get a nice, waterfront spot which was lovely. Due to mechanical problems, we had to stay an extra night. Harry at the front desk was very friendly and helpful blocking off extra nights for us in case we had to stay longer. Just up the road is Snook Haven a great little restaurant/bar with great food and drink. We will be coming back, for sure!
Beautiful camp grounds shaded by oaks full hookups or optional dry camping we stayed on the bank of the canal, office workers are very friendly and helpful. The only negative is the WiFi has too many interferences with personal hot spots.
