good just for an over nite in an emergency, road noise unbearable, again they advertise wifi and cable, DOES NOT EXIST, we used our antenna and just got 6 Chanel's. we got here after a rain, extremely muddy, they must have very poor drainage
Great stop for a few days but very close to interstate hwy 10. We didn't mind cause the price was right. They accept passport america. The owner John is really nice.
Great Rv Park with friendly and helpful campground hosts. Near I-10 with nice size pull thru so you do not have to unhook the toad. Clean, well kept park. Passport America campground, even accepted on Saturday. Terrific wifi.
Extra-long pull-thru site (#104)conveniently placed utilities, paved level pad, $23 Passport America rate.
Stayed overnight here and enjoyed time with owner John and his host couple, Bruce & Karla. Although near I-10, noise is not a problem unless one opens windows to that side of the interstate and status at a site nearby. Best option is to ask for a site further away.
PA rate is $23, GS $24..has real cable tv with menu guide. WiFi was weak only 46k speed, less then old dial up. Camp hosts very friendly folks. We only over night but see many longer term.
I highly recommend this campground. It's a pretty place, and the people who run it are super nice and extremely helpful! We stayed for about two weeks, and our RV broke down while we were there. The owner found someone to help us, got it towed, and was very accommodating to our situation. I'm so glad we were there when it happened!
Good place to stop for a One Nighter. Called ahead for late arrival and the Lady Manager was very nice and accommodating. Pull through for a good price. Very clean & maintained Park. Would return.
Stayed overnite in pullthru was good price. Was a really nice park at sometime in the past but starting to get a lil rundown and really have drainage issues. Would stay again in pinch
This park should not get a rating above 5 in each category. Most concrete pads are broke and out of level, roads very narrow and can't avoid the mud. Very noisy due to the proximity to the highway which I estimate is about 300 to 500 feet away. Also very close to an airport which generates additional noise due to low flight levels. (Military aircraft base). Should pass out ear protection at check-in. The price is reasonable, I paid $28 for the one night but you get what you pay for! I normally don't review campgrounds unless I have something positive to say.
Overall, a nice place, and super friendly folks. However many concrete pads are broken, and there was a lot of mud and standing water on the roads. This is a poor drainage issue, not recent rains. Highway noise from I-10 may be a huge problem for some. When a truck engine breaks I think it would wake most people up. I took sleeping pills to avoid this. We heard several jets take off, obviously military, but not late at night. Price is good, and the park is generally well cared for. Noise is really the big issue here. This is a good place to stay for a night.... not days. $28 a night.
