Thank you Tom Johnson Campground. This RV park is well located and the layout is good. Walk to racetrack, only minutes to shopping. Next to RV dealer (Tom Coleman Camping, and now a Camping World). Has a Pavilion but it isn't centrally located for RV'ers, same applies to bathrooms. Majer plus for the bath house is that there are plenty of showers. Great price and would definitely come again. Wifi so-so.
This park is a good deal at $25 night (off race season and back-in; +$5 pull-through) and $22 if you pay for a week in advance. The spots are large and each come with a metal picnic table. Mostly level; electric, plumbing, and grounds are well maintained. The w/d are commercial grade and work well. WiFi is included but sloooooow. There is a grassy knoll on top to play with the dog and a few strips of grass around, but the rest of the camp is all gravel and asphalt, making it hard on little paws. Bring your own shade. Concord Mills is only two miles away but there is NO CONTINUOUS SIDEWALK which would enable a pedestrian or cyclist to cross the bridge over the freeway, so you better have a car to get across. There is a bus system but it does not pick up at the Speedway and the schedule is difficult to find. If you are in town for business or for service next door and have a car, this CG is a good deal.
Great sites with plenty of room for $23 per night. Cable don't work but has everything else including 50 amp. If you can handle using antenna or dish the cable don't matter.
Great place. Will definitely be back. Stayed the weekend for the Carolina rebellion rock festival. It was nice to come back to a quiet place. WiFi was slow but who needs internet when you are on your honeymoon ;)
At $25 for a big back-in site with full hook up. Now have to see what is around to sight see.
Stopped here due to mechanical breakdown of my trailer. Convenient to Camping World. Large sites. Very helpful staff. This campground is top of our list.
Very good spot to sit and get repairs done with camping world next door. Great staff..
