We stayed here in our motorhome while we built a house nearby. There are about 6 double-wide pull through sites (12 full hook-ups). During the summer, they occasionally book two pull throughs side by side, but most of the time transients can easily find themselves alone in the pull-throughs. There are quite a few "full-time" residents who leave big 5th wheel or motorhomes on individual sites. Except for the middle of the summer when the resort is pretty full, one should be able to make a booking for day, week, or month without too much of a problem. Doug, the current manager has taken care to upgrade the running of the resort; it is very friendly, clean, and efficient. Wi-fi, cable, swimming pool, docks, playground, and clubhouse are all well used and enjoyed by the campers. Nearby is Roane State Park, and there is also a popular public boat ramp. Besides staying here for our "long" stay, we had been visiting for short stays and find check-in/check-out to be easy to manage. The location is easy access off of I-40 too, take the exit by Lowes/Kroger in Harriman, then drive west on state route 70. Campground is just past the Roane State Park entrance on left.

Next time we will stay longer! We stayed in a back in site right across from a huge park like setting with huge trees & could see a little view of the lake! Some poison ivy, watch out. Huge park, very well managed. Putting in a new section that was only gravel. Of course if you are a boater, it has ramps & slips.

I checked in late, was met by facility host (John) friendly and located pull thru site that would accept my rig. Pads level, 100% paved with full hook ups. Shower house very clean. Internet strong and secure for preforming basic work e-mail. A facility I will stay at every-time I'm in the area.

We stayed here several years ago and loved it. It was still nice the second time around but seemed to have converted to more of a weekend get-away type of park. There was a lot of heavy rainfall while we were there and the lake actually came up to the wheel of one of the RVs. The managers were very nice. Overall, it was a nice place.
