| Great spot!!!!!
One of the best campgrounds that we have stayed at. Very kid friendly with a lot of amenities. A beautiful pool that came as a surprise because for once the picture matched reality. You won't be disappointed.
| It was OK
It was nice being walking distance from the ocean. The pool was pretty nice. We stayed in the campground. Our first site was so tiny we could not fit both our 28ft travel trailer and SUV. The second site we got was still small but average. The bathrooms were new and clean. The showers were new, but not that clean. I was the only one showering and the hot water ran out in the middle of my shower.
| Great weekend getaway
We stayed here last weekend and it was at full capacity. When we pulled in, I was expecting it to be noisy and overcrowded, but was pleasantly surprised. Make your reservations early, we could only get a water and electricity corner site 3 weeks out. Great beach access. Do yourself a favor and walk out to the beach after dark, it was great to be on the beach with absolutely no outside lights. Highly recommended.

Cape Hatteras KOA is back and getting better everyday. Guests to the campground are thrilled with the improvements and can now see what the staff is so excited about. The new pool is magnificent, the Camping Cabins are all freshly updated and the Hatteras Deluxe Cabins are a real hit with the guests. All of the bath houses have been completely remodeled. One of our guests said, "the new bath houses make you feel like you are in a 5-star resort". KOA is still making improvements to bring the resort back to "100% new and improved" status.
