We were unable to proceed northward due to forest fires and took a chance on this place. What a lovely resort. Little flower gardens everywhere, clean tidy lawns, every site spacious and nicely maintained, delightful owners. And WOW, if you are lucky enough to catch a sunrise with fog rolling off the lake it will be an experience to remember! We could hear elk calling in rut, see fish jumping in the lake and a couple of osprey flying around. That was a truly great stay!! Full hook ups. Wifi and cell service is a little iffy, but satellite TV no problem. Laundry facility was immaculate, Bathrooms were spotless. Small shop with essentials. Owners were delightful. We will go out of our way to stay there again.
A nice place on Horse Lake, nice docks, looks like a gem. Unfortunately there are many issues. WiFi is not free, pay for service. Huge playground filled with screaming children running through your campsite. Family friendly, everyone else, not so much. Laundry $7 per load. Quiet hours not observed, people setting up camp at midnight, kids screaming throughout the campground. Would NOT stay again. Have never seen such disregard for personal space. Might be OK when school is in session.
