Very well thought out RV Park. Concrete sites good utilities. Public Beach across street. Most sites have a beach view. Carrabelle is a true Lost Coast. White Sand Beach and no crowds. Loved the area and the resort, would return. We stayed here in a 38 Ft MH.
The RV park is clean and it is right across from the beach and the lady that answered the phone was super nice and the pool observation deck is huge. That's kind of where the good stuff ends. I'm glad we were on the other side of the street where the sites had the feeling of a *little* more room and there was a grass area in the middle. The wifi was the worst we've ever experienced, to the point of why even bother? The pool was colder than the Gulf and my kids can handle pretty cool water. The work out room they tout is in the common room where the kitchen is and people sit to do puzzles and needle work, etc. and there is only one recumbent bike and one very small multi function weight machine. And to top it off the laundry room was out of order the day I was around and could get laundry done. We were right along the highway so it was loud. Overall, I was bummed and couldn't wait to leave. But we loved Carrabelle and Apalachicola. If you come here, go see the bottle house in Carrabelle. The Visitor's center of FULL of great info for the area.
Very impressed with resort. Highly recommend!!
An hour from Tallahassie, Carrabelle Beach RV Resort is tucked next door to both state and national forests along the Gulf coast. Right down the road from the Carrabelle Yacht Club it is perfect for the boat enthusiast and fisherman. This area may be known as Florida's forgotten coast, for its unspoiled and natural surroundings. Whether it's the nature trails you walked down, the beach you strolled on, the boat you rode in, the amazing life you saw in the forest, the water, the sky.....Whatever you"ve come to expect when you travel, it"s time to expect more. Experience Carrabelle Beach...it's time.
