Reviews for Cartersville / Cassville-White KOA

| Pet friendly - Not True

By user-5219057... on 2017-10-23.

I wanted to give zero stars but the program gave me an error. That is the only reason I gave 1 star. Tried to make a one night reservation and the website said "Pet Friendly". After giving all my information found out they do not accept certain breeds they deem "aggressive". I have Dobermans and they were one of the breeds on the Do Not Allow list per the insurance carrier. Well, I have met more "aggressive" and ill mannered Miniature Poodles, Miniature Schnauzers and Chihuahuas than I have Dobermans, Rottweilers and Pittbulls. You really need to change your insurance carrier. As a side note, my Dobermans all passed the AKC Canine Good Citizen program are multiple AKC Champions with titles in Obedience, Agility and Conformation.

I don't stay at KOA's very often but this was a nice stop. Bathrooms are spotless, wifi, full hook ups but the site wasn't level. We stayed for one night and it was fine. Did I mention clean bathrooms?

We stayed here for 1 night while traveling. Easy off I-75 and back on, but far enough away from interstate so no noise. Nice big pet areas. Pull-thru, FHU site, so could leave toad hooked up. A lot of sites are shaded. Very clean CG. Would consider staying here if in area and not just traveling thru. We stayed here in a MH.

Stayed for one night traveling from Florida to Kentucky. My reviews are always based on 2 points, one being purpose and two length of stay. Found this park very convenient to Interstate 75. Office was closed at time of arrival. Very easy instructions on after hours space availability and reservation instruction posted at the main office. It was perfect for a one night stay on our way home to Kentucky. We travel in a 32' Travel Trailer.

| narrow, muddy sites

Stayed here in 40 foot fifth wheel for 30 nights as we visited friends and family over the holidays. We stay at a lot of KOAs - this one is very basic, although KOA priced. We stayed in the front sites which are supposed to have more room, but they are very close together.! We couldn t put our awnings all the way out. It rained quite a bit and our site was a slIppery mud pit. Our son was throwing up the morning we were set to leave - I called continuously to see if we could extend our stay. They open at 9, but It was 10:15 when I finally reached someone, and they told me they were full that night. There was actually someone already waiting for our site parked behind us at 10 am! I said I d do my best but may not get out by 11 am. The front desk lady, and camp manager Ann Camp were so incredibly unsympathetic and rude! They wouldn t work with us at all - extend to 11:30/12...check in is not until 2:00. Instead they threatened action if we were not out. Nice way to treat a customer that spends many thousands of dollars at KOAs per year. We were out, and will never return.

| Very busy.

High prices, good wifi if you can get past the password junk, no refunds at all.

Typical KOA, people were nice, sites are small, convenient to freeway but it was quiet.

Very friendly staff. Allowed to use their golf cart to go get some stuff off site. Great stop just north of Atlanta. Good drive - thru sites. Low price for KOA $33

This is an excellent campground even if you re only staying one night or longer plenty of activities the camp park is extremely clean and even though they don t have any grass where you park you are next to this spacious dog park pet walking area and close to a large pool and an office with most things that you would need I would recommend staying here and I will stay here again

| It is KOA

By user-4739273... on 2019-08-09.

What can we say, it is a KOA, we payed 41,20 for a night, no discounts at all. Convienient just of the Interstate, otherwise we would have gone elsewhere. Check in ajt 95 F was friendly, but later on we found out that the pool was closed, we called and there was a guy who told us that we should have read the sign on the desk when checking inn. Ehhh when you are driving all day doesn't make you read everything. We asked why and he said if you don't like it go elsewhere. Well, in our opinion the customer is allways right (even sometimes not), the answer was realy rude, so no discounts for no pool and as we where told the pool was officialy not included anyways. So that is it for this KOA: sites are close together, dust, some shade. We will skip this one next time.

We called the office and this wonderful lady responded so kindly to our needs. Stay one night and the facility is great, very well kept. It is a nice place to stay.
