Owner packed me in like sardines. ..friendly people..horrible place to get your 36' 5th wheel into..avoid at all cost..
I have only been to a few RV camp grounds, but this was a great time. The showers are clean and hot, The wifi is weak, bring your own. the camp ground layout is awesome. there is 2 sections, we were in the back, and will go back next year for the same location. towards the end of the day we saw 3 deer standing up on the hill behind our motorhome. They were back in the morning. There is a icecream truck that comes around 2 times a day, afternoon and evenning. There is no noise, dark at night, and dump station is next to your site, along with power. 15 miles north is athens if you need anything, 12 miles south is a RV dealer with lots of items if you have anything that needs attention, all in all the owners are very helpful, and friendly. Try it, you"ll like it
Nicest people you will find anywhere. Owners are very people friendly. Neighbors are so nice. One neighbor is like the neighbor of the 1950 era, not in age, but manners and generosity. If the are eating he offers you some his food such as steak, corn on the cob, etc. Just a great place to camp. Wonderful children. Cant wait to go again. Amazing stop. Wonderful hosts, nice quite park in a secluded but easy accessed location. Clean showers & laundry room.
Con: no shade trees in new area on the hill for transit guests yet. Hope they plant some soon. All other shady sites seem to be occupied by seasonal people. Also some of the seasonal people don't keep their dogs tied up and owners say nothing to them. Pro: Sites are large and pretty level. owners will bring you boards if you need them for leveling. Escort to sites and help with backing in. Nice potluck Christmas in August on Saturday night. Great fishing, but catch and release. 50 amp power worked great. WIFI was great. Stayed here in a 35' motorhome. Would recommend this place. Didn't give it 5 stars because of the cons & no cable tv.
